3 april 2024This review is not of the female doctors who work at this practice who actually took me seriously and referred me for help later when I persisted going back. Went to Verboon after I had some very concerning symptoms, he didn't even investigate further. I sat there telling him it feels like head and neck cancer symptoms. He non-chalantly told me I'm young. He did no investigation into what I told him. He said I have some fear of cancer. I replied yes and very reasonably so because it runs in my family and because of my symptoms. Without checking if I was a good candidate for it he performed a very rough epley maneuver on me, told me he knows what he is talking about since he is such an experienced doctor and sent me home. My symptoms continued and I decided to consult a different doctor at the same practice. She really listened to me, actually asked me further questions and sent me for further investigation. The result? I got an echo, biopsy & was diagnosed with head and neck cancer.
